Electric Motor Rewinds, Repairs & Overhaul

We perform rewinds, repairs and overhauls of electric motors for clients throughout Australia from workshop based in Adelaide, South Australia.

We also have years of experience performing on-site work on electric motors at manufacturing plants, oil rigs, and mining operations.


REWINDS

The most common cause of motor burnout is due to insulation breakdown, which is often due to age or moisture. The process of rewinding the motor involves the stripping and replacement of coils.

Our workshop and technicians are fully certified (AS3800, Lic. 2744) to service hazardous area electric motors including Exe (increased safety), Exn (non-sparking), Exd (explosion proof) and DIP (dust ignition proof) motors.

We were the first company in South Australia and are one of few in Australia who can rewind and overhaul Exe, Exn, Exd and DIP motors.

As a part of this standard, all hazardous area equipment we perform work on undergoes detailed Quality Assurance checks to ensure certification conformity.
