Vacon NXL AC Drives
The Vacon NXL is an extremely slim, space-saving and easy-to-use frequency converter for the power range from 0.25 kW to 30 kW. The bookshelf design and various enclosure and EMC classes provide an optimal solution for all operating environments.

The compact size and flexible installation options make the NXL suitable for very limited space. The smaller units (sizes MF2 and MF3) can be mounted with a screw or DIN rail option from the back or side of the unit. The through-hole assembly is possible for bigger units (sizes MF4, MF5 and MF6).
Easy programming and commissioning add to overall user-friendliness. The default control I/O includes the most common inputs and outputs. For maximum compatibility, the connector numbers correspond to those of the Vacon NX and CX series. Parameter setting is carried out in a familiar way, either via the control panel or by means of the PC tools for the NX.

An optimal solution is available for most application needs. The modular design allows the choice of only the functions and features needed in a specific application. The NXL can be delivered with or without the display panel. A wide selection of option cards offers new possibilities for configuring the drive for future requirements.

The NXL builds on a robust design, providing a wide ambient temperature and supply voltage range as well as sophisticated vector control of the motor.

The RS485 (Modbus) is available as standard. All common fieldbus cards and I/O expander cards available for the NX range of products can be used. The NXL also incorporates PID control as standard, enhanced with a host of special features such as a sleep function.
